April –‘Thanks Mom!’ Session 1 & 2

There's nothing mothers like more than a lovingly crafted handmade gift on Mother's Day. 
Using just ice cream sticks and adhesives, students created the ultimate Mother’s Day gift ever!!! - photo frame!! (erm..that’s what I’ve been told…:) )

Learning Outcome: Creativity, Sensory, Imagination and Fine motor skills.

April - ‘3-2-1, BLAST OFF!!’ Session 1 & 2

The aim of today’s two sessions were to spark creativity by making something out of household and recycled items. A ‘Rocket’ was chosen and students were free to construct their rocket using any material they wanted from the class.

Learning Outcome: Creativity, Sensory, Imagination and Fine motor skills.

April - ‘The Water Cycle’ Session 1 & 2


Art meets Science! Today’s two sessions discussed the importance of water and how the water cycle works. To help 'glue' in the idea, children were taught to assemble an illustration of 'water cycle' via cut & paste methods.

April – Paper Bag Puppet ‘RHINO ALERT!’ Session 1 & 2

The decreasing population of Rhinoceros especially the Black, Sumatran and Javan is a cause for concern. Today’s two sessions discussed the six basic facts of this unique creature; our small contribution in spreading awareness of how the soon-to-be extinct animal need attention in making sure it does not just disappear from the face of the earth.

Students were introduced to Paper Bag Puppet; where they created an impression of their own Rhinos based on the ‘6 Rhino Facts’.
