Research finds colouring stimulates creativity, improves focus and hand to eye coordination, and motor skills. Today the class went technical where our students were introduced to the three basics of pencil colouring techniques; ‘Pressure, ‘Different Strokes’ and ‘Layering’. Next they were given an outline of ‘Bunga Raya’ to practise the techniques they have learnt earlier.
Today’s exercise helps our students understand the basics of colouring, pressure shading and colour blending. This would better their colouring skills which would also increase their self-confidence and motivation.
